How the salsa
hour unfolds.
We start gently: a warm-up to loosen the shoulders and lose the self-consciousness, then the salsa basic — step, replace, step — until the whole group is moving on the same count. From there the routine grows in friendly chunks: a turn here, a hip roll there, a cross-body lead that looks far harder than it is.
By the last twenty minutes you're dancing the whole thing to music, and the choreographer shapes the ending around the bride. Choose the ninety-minute session and there's time to polish, add a lift-free flourish and film the finale twice — once seriously, once definitely not.

01Is salsa too hard for total beginners?
Not the way we teach it. The salsa basic is three steps and a pause — most groups have it inside ten minutes, and everything else in the routine is built from that one building block. If your group can walk in time to a song, they can do this.
02Do we have to dance in pairs?
No — the routine is danced as one group, so nobody needs a partner and nobody sits out. If your hens fancy trying a cross-body lead in twos we can weave a short partner moment in, but it's entirely optional and always kept simple.
03What music will we dance to?
Proper Latin heat — classic salsa with a few modern crowd-pleasers mixed in so the room lifts the second the speaker comes on. If the bride has a song she adores, tell us in the enquiry and we'll do our best to build it into the session.
04What should we wear for salsa?
Whatever you can move and laugh in — leggings and trainers are perfect, low heels fine if you're used to them. Twirly skirts, flower crowns and bride sashes are warmly encouraged but never required.
05Can the bride get her own bit of the routine?
Always. We choreograph a centre-stage moment just for her — a solo shimmy, a conga of bridesmaids around her, or a big lift-free dip to finish. Tell us how much limelight she'll enjoy and we'll pitch it exactly there.
