How the Spice Girls

We kick off with a warm-up to a couple of era-appropriate bangers, then sort the casting: who's which Spice, and where the bride sits in the formation. The first block of choreography is the chorus — simple, punchy, instantly recognisable — and once the group has it we add the verses, each with a small feature moment for one of the roles.
The final twenty minutes pull it all together to music, with the choreographer tidying the formation changes and setting up the line-up finish around the bride. On the ninety-minute session there's room for a second song, some optional harmonies and enough run-throughs that the video actually looks rehearsed.

01Can we choose which Spice Girls songs we do?
The big ones — the tracks every 90s kid can sing without thinking, chosen to give the routine a fast, singalong chorus and verses with room for each Spice to feature. If the bride has a firm favourite, tell us in the enquiry and we'll build the session around it where we can.
02Do we have to be exactly five people?
Not at all. Roles can be shared, doubled up or handed out to whoever shouts loudest — we've run this for six hens and for twenty-six. The routine is danced as one group, with the five signature moves woven through so everyone gets a feature moment.
03Is the choreography hard?
It's built for beginners. The moves are the ones you half-remember from the videos — pointed, punchy and easy to pick up — and we teach them in short chunks before putting them to music. If your group can clap on the beat, they'll manage this.
04What should we wear — and do you provide outfits?
Anything you can move in works, though most groups go all in on their chosen Spice. We don't provide costumes or props, so leopard print, Union Jack dresses and pigtails are yours to bring — trainers, ideally, so nobody rolls an ankle on a strut.
05Which Spice does the bride get to be?
Always. She's usually cast as the one out front — the leader of the line-up — with a solo moment in the chorus and the rest of the group framing her for the final pose. If she'd rather share the limelight, we can spread it across the group instead.
